Store Associate (Full-Time)
Location: Rapid City, South Dakota (Black Hills)
Job Type: Full-Time, in-store
Overview
We’re hiring a full-time store associate to deliver great customer service, learn our product lines, keep the shop organized, and support daily store operations.
What you’ll do
Help customers choose the right gear (rods/reels/lines, leaders/tippet, flies, waders/boots, accessories)
Run POS/register, process returns, answer basic phone questions
Receive/stock product, maintain backstock, help keep inventory accurate
Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-merchandised
Support general shop ops: pricing/tagging, opening/closing tasks, seasonal needs
What we’re looking for
Friendly, reliable, service-oriented
Comfortable learning technical products and explaining them simply
Retail/customer service experience preferred (fly shop/outdoor retail is a plus)
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift ~40 lbs
Availability for a consistent schedule, including some Saturdays
