I am seeking a guide or lodge hand position for the 2026 season and am eager to take the next step in building a career within the fly fishing industry. I bring six years of dedicated fly fishing experience and seven years of customer service experience, along with a genuine passion for teaching and hospitality. During my time as a staff member with Orvis, I had the opportunity to teach Fly Fishing 101 classes to new and aspiring anglers. This role strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, build confidence in beginners, and create a welcoming environment for guests of all skill levels. I take pride in forming authentic connections with customers and consistently delivering top-tier service. Having grown up fishing in Tennessee, particularly throughout East Tennessee, I’ve been fortunate to experience a wide variety of fisheries. From targeting smallmouth bass in small streams to fishing large tailwaters for technical trout, I have developed versatility and adaptability on the water. Some of my most rewarding experiences have come from hiking deep into the Great Smoky Mountains in pursuit of native brook trout on dry flies—an experience that shaped both my respect for the resource and my love for the sport. I am highly motivated, hardworking, and ready to learn. While my long-term goal is to become a guide, I am fully open to starting in any lodge role that allows me to gain hands-on experience, deepen my knowledge, and contribute meaningfully to a team. I am excited for the opportunity to immerse myself in a professional lodge environment, continue developing my skills, and provide guests with memorable experiences on and off the water.
